“No good movie is too long and no bad movie is short enough.” -Roger Ebert

See a Drive-In Movie I have wanted to go to a Drive-In movie theatre for a really long time and Last night I finally went!! Jacqui and I went to Tibbs Drive-In The first movie was scheduled to start at 9pm and it was “What to Expect When You Are Expecting” and the second movie, “21 Jump Street” was scheduled to begin at 11:30. Both started a little late as it wasn’t quite dark enough at 9. I was not a fan of the first movie so it seemed to drag, but the second was pretty good minus a lot of the language. The Drive-In itself was AWESOME! We sat in the car and tuned the radio in to listen to the movie. We had a really great view and it was relatively comfortable despite it being 87 degrees outside. There are four screens that each show two movies a night, except on Tuesdays as they are closed. They even had a great concession stand (I would recommend the soft serve ice-cream cones!) which we later found out is the main source of income for keeping the theatre open as most of our admission, which was only $10, goes to higher up people. It was a lot of fun and would be a great date night! Hopefully I will be going back sooner than later! 🙂
